Coverking Neoprene Seat Covers installed!
I haven't really introduced my 2000 limited yet, but I want to make everything cleaned up before i introduce her. I got her with two large tears in the driver's seat but it seems the foam hasn't cracked and is still nice and flexible. I was trying to decide between the wet okoles and the coverkings from costco, the 40 dollar difference and costco's return policy drew me to the coverkings. I ordered them on the 19th and just got them today (I'm located in Irvine, within 10 miles from their shop in Anaheim), pretty fast turn around and they ship with UPS 3 day select if that makes a difference to you.
Neoprene quality is nice and thick, with full padding around the sides of the seats along with the seat, backrest, and back portions along with the headrest cover.
The backrest portion has a flap looping under the bottom of the backrest that velcro's to the actual back of the seat, covering the entire thing. The seams for the headrest post holes are nice and strong and can be tucked under the fastening plastic things.
The seat cushion of the seat envelopes the front and sides. On the front there are two side release buckles typing the front to the back of the cushion cover, and on each side are clips to type under the bottom of the seat (i could only clip the outer ones and the inside's are too cramped to clip.
The only thing I didnt like at first glance was that the headrest sides didn't full envelope the bottom, only covering the sides. It hangs a bit loose towards the bottom.
Anyway here are pics of the tear and with the covers installed.
Yea, the carpet is pretty damn dingy. Grease stains, and the guy's kid made a mess. I'm thinking spraying it down with simple green and degreaser, scrubbing and wet/dry vacuuming the liquid out. Any of you guys have any suggestions besides what i plan to do?
