Goot seat covers for a '99 SR5?

We are giving our '99 SR5 to our son at the end of the summer. It has Dealer Installed leather seats from the previous owner, and the sides of the backrest have some bad splits in them (the bottom cushion covers are not bad). What's a good, tight fitting cover that won't move around, or does someone make color matched covers for just the backrest? Guessing having them recovered is pricey.

Wet Okole. $$$ but you'll only do it once and they fit perfectly. Looks factory. Waterproof neoprene.

Agreed, search the marketplace for a good set of used. I got mine for 70$, probably 600+ new.

Oh, and in my various historical Land Cruisers, Toyota truck, and current 4Runner, none have looked as wrinkled as they look in the photo. I think they form to the shape of the seat as you use them.

Replace the leather with new leather. I did. pretty easy job with seats out. Around $100 each for seat and back. New seat cushion as well. About $500 and interior looks brand new.

I have used lseat.com. I did our LX470 with LSeat skins back in January 2018, and my Land Cruiser in 2019, and they are just now starting to show some wear (scratches), but otherwise still holding up very well (both are daily drivers). I also I did my son's 2000 4Runner with LSeat Skins 2 years ago ($350 for both front seats, upper and bottom), and they still look brand new (I also replaced the driver's seat foam (bottom only), but not the passenger's). I also added seat heaters (Amazon, less than $50).

The LSeat leather is a good color match, but the texture is slightly different (factory leather is smooth, where the LSeat leather has some texture to it). There are some that don't like LSeat, but I am happy with them and would definitely use them again (I have no affiliation with them, and there are other replacement leather skins available...).
