Cpd1751 build suggestions

I recently purchased a 2000 sr5..with 132,000.. I have $5000 to put into her.. here is the list of problems:
Rusted out rear diff. housing replaced w/ labor: 1300.00
Emergency brake cable snapped replace : 80.00
total for necessary repairs: 1500.00 leaving xtra

Now the dilema i have smaller kids so im thinking a 3 inch lift is out. I was thinking of replacing all struts and shocks with 99 tall springs to get a better rideand a better lookin stance. I really dont go off road if anything camp and go down fire roads to get to my mountain bike trail heads. i figure i would also do general tune up and fluid changes just to get a baseline going. I am lookin for suggestions on the best way to build this into a family daily driver / camping mtn bike hauler machine. Any help would be great.

Get a sonoran steel system 3 lift. I would also get a set of husky liners or weathertech floor mats soon. The rest is hard to say. I would ditch the grill guard for a bumper, but you may choose to leave it that way. I would also ditch the running boards, but your kids will probably need those.

you could go system 3 from Sonoran Steel, but you might be better off just getting some 99 tall coils and bilsteins.

As far as mods, x2 on ditching the brush guard. They don't actually do much. You could probably sell that for ~$100 and pick up some hella 500's to light your way a little better when you're out camping.

Oh, and depending on how small your kids are, ditch the running boards too. Gives a free lifted look and then they don't get in the way off road.
