CPO warranty

I bought a 4runner private party that was still under CPO warranty. Does anyone know how I go about transferring this warranty into my name? I called the dealership and they acted like they didnt even know what a cpo was...

I received a call from Toyota today and they said to transfer the CPO warranty I would need to call this phone number: 1800-228-8559 and that there would be a $50 charge.....

Has anyone dealt with transferring CPO warranty's before?

Ok so I found this and it says there is no charge to transfer the warranty... Warranty


I am confused now, how do I transfer the CPO warranty into my name and is there a charge?
