cracks on a diehard 31m

Had to get under the hood for a clean up on the MAF, throttle body ect.
Went to do a disconnect of the thermal to do a reset of ECU.
Notice around the terimanals, they are cracking. Yes did a search and battery is doing normal, just no prior complaints about this issue found.
This normal with anyone else, or do I need to go to Sears and start nutting up?

I would take it down to them and have it replaced..

out of all the years I been driving, I had never seen an battery terminal cracked like that before..

I'd say take it back and have it replaced. This isn't "normal" by any means.

Sold thousands of diehard batteries and warrantied many during my time with Sears. Never seen cracks on any of them. Go in and get them to replace it. If they do a diagnostic on it and it comes back normal and then try to refuse replacement, laugh in their faces and get the manager involved.
