I've been wondering about the value of mine. I don't have enough posts to start a new thread so I'll see what you think.
I bought mine as a replacement for a truck that I kept at my cabin to use as a runner when I ride my motorcycle up and need a vehicle to go to the store etc... I also have a FJ Cruiser and I am thinking I still need a truck and may let the 4Runner go, but not sure of the value.
It is a 2000 Limited with 122,000 miles. When I got the vehicle it was really in need of detailing which I did. The leather seats were actually in good condition, but did need detailing as did the carpet. This car had been hit in the rear and the rear lift gate has been replaced. I discovered this when detailing the car. All of the windows have the correct VIN etched, but the rear did not. After further digging the rear floor pan is wrinkled under the carpet where they did not do a replacement, but hammered it back. No big deal...
Everything on the vehicle works and the car has always been an Arkansas registered vehicle. There is no rust in the usual areas and the E-Lock and 4x4 works as it should. I found the records up to 90k miles, but the last 30k were not in the glovebox. Apparently when this car was hit in the rear, they most likely totaled it, but it wasn't bad enough for it to get a salvage title. I bought it from a dealer that was also a body shop and his wife drove it for about three years. The title I got was from State Farm Insurance to his dealership.
I took it home and after detailing it I put new struts and springs on the front and new coils and shocks on the rear. I also replaced the front brake rotors and pads. Everything else under the car looked good. I changed out the crappy stereo with a JVC touch screen unit with Bluetooth and USB inputs and also installed Rockford Fosgate speakers in front and back.
The car looks really nice with the exception of the wheels that have the clear coat peeling and looks crappy. The car is white and silver. The timing belt has not been changed that I have found any evidence of. It doesn't appear that the vehicle has been used off-road as the under carriage is clean and doesn't have the typical mud stains that would be present.
What would you think would be a fair price for a vehicle with this history?

4Runners don't carry much of a premium in Texas (not really a need for 4WD) but the low mileage helps. It's really hard to say without seeing it, but I would say in the $5k to $6k range.

Someone loved it enough to spend $$$ on the TRD oil cap. Plus the brake fluid isn’t as dark as soot. The upper radiator hose does leave some desirability for a new OEM one.
I just bought a 2001 SR5 2WD with 143K and an excellent, documented service history. The CA price was just under 6k. I’d have to agree, Leon.

Your truck is 2WD though, no offense. It's apples and oranges.
FWIW, for my area, the truck the OP linked might even be considered underpriced.

Also, 01-02 tend to have the lowest value, relatively because of the often complicated and expensive to repair trac system and most importantly the lack of a factor rear diff lock.
96-97 with rear diff locks are in the middle.
It seems like 98-00 (with 99-00 being a bit higher since they're newer) are the most valued. 99-00 4WD Limited with diff locks tend to command the highest.
There is also a market for the sport/highlander versions, but they can be all over the place.
This assumes standard yearly mileage for each ones of course.

Stuff like this goes for more out in places like that because it has no rust. Extremely clean even the steering wheel looks brand new which is a pretty good sign. The value of these highly depends on where you're at in the country. My rust free 3rd gen isn't worth but 2k in Michigan because sadly out here everyone likes driving crappy American rust buckets that break down every 3k miles. Lol

I dunno man. Looks like painted over rust. Look at the bubbling along the body mount bracket and rear control arm bracket. I suspect it wasn't in CA it's whole life.
In fact in this pic you can see a rust repair panel on the underside of the frame.
