Toyota 4Runner LOW MILES Last Chance!

Found this 4runner. Wanted a 3rd Gen but this one looks really nice. Any pointers to look for if I go see it in person? Thanks.

That 4runner is in good shape but at $3,900 I don't think it's a special price. At least in my area there are a handful of clean 2nd gens that pop up for that price all the time. IF you're in the market for a 2nd gen, that's a fair price. But don't jump on it if it's not what you ultimately want. I see 3rd gens come up on craigslist in my area for 5-6k all the time.

Its a bit high, I wouldn't pay over 3k for it. I saw a lifted 94 w/ nice tires clean interior going for 2700

Offer him $3000. You never know till you try. He's a little excited calling a 2nd gen a Classic. Nice? Yes. $4000? No.

Found this 4runner. Wanted a 3rd Gen but this one looks really nice. Any pointers to look for if I go see it in person? Thanks.

Check all the major systems:
-suspension(bushings-control arms/a frames, ball joints-upper/lower, etc....)
-cooling system (rad, w-pump, coolant temp sensor, fan clutch, t-stat)
-timing belt and all rollers(v6), chain for 4cyl
-fuel system (pump, regulator, filter, injector reseal, etc...)
- trans fluid
-transaxle ( make sure it goes into 4wd)
You get the idea here. That truck in the PNW would be sold immediately, even with those issues(ac/ rear window). For the price, I would want everything working, and some major systems redone. It seems really clean though. I would go through the service records very carefully(factory recalls, etc..).

What do you all think of this one for $6500:
