That's a great price considering the 57k miles on it. That would sell for $20k in Oregon.

I agree about the $20k, depending on the area of the country. That's an early 3rd gen... some people love those. And to find one in "like-new" condition? (But he says the cruise control doesn't work.)

That looks like a new muffler. Am I being too suspicious?

I don't understand how people can think a 24 year old SUV can fetch half the price of a new one. Even if it's low miles (which for a collector, 57,000 miles isn't low) there's rubber parts that have deteriorated, bushings that are shot, and trim that is old and faded. The driver's seat leather looks a whole lot older than 57,000 miles since it wasn't maintained if it truly were a collector item.

Of course though, someone will inevitably buy it thinking they are getting an "almost new" vehicle and then be in for a rude surprise on the maintenance needed.

The seat is a bit oddly worn for 50ish k. Maybe they used it ever day for 20 years but only went to the mailbox and back.

Unless it was well-maintained by the student's mom & dad's credit card and dealership mechanic!

Seems like lots of oddities.
Front turn signals look too orange like TYC.
Only wood on the center dash.
Center console top isn’t leather, and has 99+ cup holders.
Rear lift gate looks odd. Pin stripes seem to end abruptly.

Bought in 96. 3 owners and none of them drove it?
35k by 2001 and then still no one drove it for the next 19 years?

And it has the ugly steering wheel!

Looks like a $8-10k rig to me at most.

I just did a VIN check and every time it was serviced all the way up till 2019 it says the miles are 0. Only in the year 2019 does is report 54,xxx miles and then again in 2020 57,xxx miles. I would proceed with extreme caution and demand strict proof of the mileage claims on the vehicle if interested.

** EDIT - Just noticed he posted his own "service history" with miles but it doesn't match up to what I'm seeing. It reads 0 miles at every servicing until 2019 when I look at it.
