What was the person shooting the video thinking? Don't just look at it, start stripping out what few good parts are left. Those leather seats looked good to me:p
 
It looks like all that new fangled safety stuff did exactly what it supposed to do, thankfully! I'm glad injuries were minor!

Looking at the pics I didn't see the frontseat airbags, perhaps they were there and I didn't look in the right place...
 
I work for the City here and my job involves a LOT of driving , daily . You guys wouldnt believe the amount of vehicles , per week that just blow right through red lights and stop signs because of Cell phones . People slouched down in their seats yakking away and have NO CLUE at all they just went through a red light or stop sign . Its scary man !
 
Nice to see the 4runner kept everyone safe, but now that I think about it, I do see something that is disturbing for us tall drivers. As it is, my head is practically scraping my roofline. If i ever roll over, I hope the roof doesn't cave in too much! :nono:
 
Wow, glad to see everybody survived. It looks like the 4Runner held up pretty well. Passenger compartment did not crumble too bad. I bet the side curtain airbags were a lifesaver in this accident.
 
Kinda dumb admitting you were on the cell phone to the police. Lock her up. If it would have been a drunk driver they would have.
 
Where I live, the amount of people I observe messing with their phone while driving really doesn’t put me at ease.

I also think the enforcement and penalties for those who do are still too laxed.
