Crash Tests for 2003 are In

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) today posted its third batch of model year 2003 New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) crash test results. The 2003 4Runner was one of the SUV's tested.

Overall, I thought the ratings were pretty good.

Strange, but the '03 results are identical to the 3rd gen (1996-2002) results. I had hoped that Toyota has improved it's crash test results. Well, let's just hope the 4Runner will do well in the insurance crash tests.
