Some freaking teeniebopper girl tried to cut across 4 lanes of traffic during rush hour today .

while waiting for the police to take the report the girls mom shows up and stands in the road giving me the evil eye the whole time like I was the one who caused the wreck

Guess its time for a new bumper - Im thinking ARB

That sucks, but could be a blessing in disguise. Check out Outdoorlogic. They have one of the best looking bumpers out there and the customer service and turn around is great.

cool..i would love any suggestions now that the budget is not an issue. the insurance company will just give me a check for the repairs and i can either go back to OEM or get aftermarket bumper.

i know ARB is good but not familiar with any other brands .

i am not too fond of the tublar style bumpers. i like the ARB style alot. i just looked at those shrockworks bumpers and they look pretty flippn sweet .:pimp:

I would reccomend ARB as it is supposed to be airbag compliant, and insurance companies would still cover you if you got into an accident with it, as they can refuse (or so i hear) if you have a bumper that isn't compliant. Don't quote me on it, but ppl on here talk about that.

thanks ..thats a good point about the air bags..i will do some research and find out more about that.

after the crash i didnt realize just how much of the stock bumper is actually steel. I got out expecting to see my bumper folded into the radiator but it held up very well.

i was doing about 20mph at impact and hit the other car hard enough to spin it from t-bone position all the way around so that her front bumper was almost touching my drivers door.

needless to say pontiac sunfires dont hold up well in a side impact..her car had to be towed because the drivers side folded in on the tire so bad it could be driven.

the other car looked pretty much like this actually- except the impact was on the drivers side

Young America Insurance Company is a pain in the azz to deal with. I had to call and leave voicemails with 3 different people just to get to the correct department.
There is no direct number to claims so must call the main number and wait on hold for someone to tell you that they will transfer you to that department and then wait on hold all over again.

I have to keep telling myself the new bumper will be worth the hassle.

Whats up with your headlight and the filler piece below? Those look a little tweaked as well. But, maybe its just the picture.

the turn signal light is making the head light look crooked. the filler between the light and bumper is damaged..all due to the crash.
