Crashing the Jeep Jamboree

Gonna crash the Jeep jamboree in Murphy, NC on Oct13-15. Anybody else gonna show up? Gotta represent the T4R's!

If it is an official Jeep event, the only thing that will happen is that you end up getting arrested. You will not crash anything. The police will be called so fast, you won't even have time to think about what a dumb idea that was. Those signs that say Jeeps only trespassers will be prosecuted, are not there for the fun of it.

It is likely that Jeep will rent the whole park that weekend which means that no one else can get into it. But if you do and take a pic of you pulling a Jeep out, then please post it. If it's the other way around, then we don't know you at all!!

Watch out for those Rubicons...i would not follow them everywhere....

Relax 007! I have a buddy ....(Jeep Owner) who I'm meeting there. The park is not Jeep exclusive. I am aware that the Jeeps are quite capable off road ....just trying to be funny and see if any other T4r's wanna show up ........ Damn! ...lighten up!!!

I'd go if I were closer. Some of the most fun wheeling I have had has been in a modified jeep. Sounds like fun. I have tons of respect for them. Hopefully you'll get a few member to join in with you. If you do go. Get some Video.

Is this meet at the Tellico OHV Area? If so, I will be in NC for 7 days starting on 9/30. I guess I'll miss the Jeep thing....

It's at Tellico, ...all the Jeep registeries are sold out but they have cabins and camp sites available if you want to go up there on your own. I had a website previously from an email but i don't seem to have it anymore. My friend with the Jeep is going mainly because he makes trailers and figures better probability of buyers that weekend.

I just checked their site: You can only get in during the event if you pay the full $100 participation fee. That let's you be part of all events BUT to run the trails you MUST have several items including:

Mud Tires
Fire Extinguisher
Snatch Strap
CB Radio

Seems like it will be better to come after the event if you just want to check out the area. My stock 4R will not be allowed on the guided trail tour anyway.

It is a public area/park. There just happens to be a group of Jeeps going that weekend. There will be many other vehicles there.

Just got back from the Jamboree. Pics are posted in the Gallery forum (not the "Gallery" ...still can't upload into there for some reason) ...anyway, it was way fun and I didn't even get arrested!!! LOL!!!!!
