Creaking Noise from Dash or Windshield
Ever since I bought the truck in February in NJ cold I hear a creaking in whats sounds like the dash or the windshield. The dealer put all the foam he could (so he says) to get rid of it but as soon at the weather cools down it does it again. Very annoying. I have read that in 2004 there were windshield molding deformed or warped and I noticed movement in both sides and them not seated at the pivot point where the windshield ends and the top of the roof starts. i will check out a few others and see but My wifes 2004 Rav 4 has them seated almost recessed over the same point. Wodering if the creaking is from the windshield cause the moldings arent secured correctly or the moldings themselves. Any ideas would be appreciated. Truck sounds cheap for a new truck 7500 easy miles.
