I just completed my tundra/LC lift and gave it a test drive. Under moderate-heavy braking i get this popping, clicking, sound coming from the front of the vehicle. Speed bumps, shaking the vehicle and full lock turning don't do it. It only seems to do it during braking. The sound is more intense depending on how hard i brake and also it continues after the vehicle has stopped and i have eased off the brakes for a few seconds.
I used 5100's on the second perch, re-used my existing top hats, and used the tundra coil isolators. I also loosened and re-torqued the UCA bushing and the lower shock bolt at ride height. I was not able to torque the 3 top hat bolts properly due to space and wasn't able to torque the upper shock mount because of the shaft rotating.
Could it be that i over or under tightened something? I haven't gotten an alignment just yet.
