The following information outlines paint schemes used on the 2003 model year Toyota vehicles.
Painting Method
Toyota vehicles are painted using either a single color over the entire vehicle or two tone where the cladding and bumpers are a different color than the body of the car.
Refinish Precautions
To avoid heat deformation of the cladding observe the following precautions during the refinish/drying process:
3. To prevent cladding warpage hold the cladding panels firmly in place and keep the drying temperature below 140°F (60°C).
4. Since the cladding and bumpers are made of flexible plastic urethane material use a two-part urethane finish paint system with flex additive (as required) by your paint manufacturer.
