4runner Year 93'
My buddy has a 4 runner which had a dead battery, he tired jump starting but cross the terminals. After crossing the cables he saw some sparks and the horn didn't stop until he disconnected the battery. (I don't know how long the cables were connected).
I came over to take a look, replaced the battery with a good/charged battery, replaced one bad fuse (15 A Dome fuse, in the fuse box under the hood)
Car has power, Lights/horn/radio work but then I turn the key to start the engine nothing. No noise, no clicks from the starter, Power for the lights/horn/radio continue to work.
Asking for any suggestions, Should I take the starter out to get bench check? I thought the starter would at least click if it was fried. Also attached a pic of the engine fuse box, could a relay switch fried? which one?
