Crsytal Auto Mall-Toyota

This is in regard to the Toyota service center of Crystal auto mall.
I called parts to find out if they had the BF Goodrich Dueler A/T REVO in stock. They said yes. So I made an appointment. I went there to get the tires and told them specifically what I wanted. The service man did not check anything he just wrote down my request on the service form. Later that day I get the truck back and the Dueler H/T is on. I told them to exchange the tires for the correct ones after they said they accidently pulled the wrong ones. They said ok and gave me a loaner car. Next day I call around 4 and ask if the truck is done. The service man says oh there must have been a miscommunication the tires have not been put on. Today they call and say well we don't have the tires but we can order them and it will take 10-20 days to get them. Absolutley unacceptable. I am having them put my old tires back on and they are giving me my money back. I think I will just order the tires from tire rack and have them put on elsewhere. can you believe that? I'm sure for anything else (regular instock tires) they are fine to go to but watch out if you want something that might have to be special ordered. There is definietly some miscommunication going on in that department.

Crystal Automall is across the street from where I shop for my model cars. I always thought of stopping there to see how their parts department is and to look around, but I never really got around to it. Now I guess I will not be stopping there at all. I also considered them when I was buying my 03. The reason I didn't go there was because they would be a bit far when I need service or anything. What part of New Jersey are you from?

I am in Somerville, you? I think I am actually going to make out on this deal.... Crystal kind of screwed themselves.
I bought my truck from Dayton and I've gone there for everything for the last 3 years and never had a problem. If you are close to them I would definitely suggest them for service. They also have loaner cars.

I am from Marlboro. I bought mine at Galaxy and they also have loaner cars. They give Corolla's and Camry's. I am very happy with Galaxy because I know the service manager!!

yeah my dad bought his 4runner from crystal... oh my mom didn't like them at all, just wanted to sell and get the stuff out the door. I bought mine from Lawrence on route 1. down near princeton where I live... great people out there..
