2000 4runner, 3.4 with Auto and 4x4
Winter 2014, was driving to work using cruise control. Cruise control suddenly cut off (cruise light still on) and the fuel gauge went to empty and CEL pops on. (VSS code # cant remember). Drive it 3 or 4 more times it went away.
Fast forward to today. Driving home from work, CC on, suddenly cuts off along with fuel gauge going to empty (cruise light still on). No CEL yet but that may pop up next time I'm driving.
Can't find any threads where anyone had a problem similar to this. Getting ready for a cross country trip in 4 weeks and would like to have cruise control working. What can I check?
