My first thought is that, after 200k, the CC's Set/Resume contacts have simply had it, because there's nothing else that jumps out as wrong. But I just wanted to ask the question & see what y'all thought:
I have a (new-to-me) '00 SR5, just shy of 200k on the clock. I just had the shop go through the truck because I had both the ABS and Check Engine lights on (w/ different circumstances) - they're fixed, but still I have no Cruise. The Cruise light comes on when I hit the button, but it will never engage. The fuses are ok and there's no check engine light or any other telltale signs that something's amiss.
So I'm stumped, except to think that maybe the switch itself has had it. Can anybody point me in direction to check things out? Wiring harness, sensors, ECUs?
Thanks in advance!
