Cruise Control Issues

okay so, i have a 1990 slowrunner with the 3.slow in it and when i hit the cruise button nothing happens, the light on the dash comes on but nothing else. checked the vacuum lines and wiring ...need to find the fuse. also when i press the accel button it does pick up but then drops out again.

If the Accel button works, the fuse is good and the vacuum motor is good.
Why it does not function properly could be a number of things, the CC ECM relies on signals from a number of sensors.

do you know what/where they are because i need to check them...its a pain to drive my 60 mile commute everyday without it
