Cruise Control Problem

The CC on my 98 isn't functioning properly.

Specifically the RESUME function. The ACC function works once the speed is set, but after applying the brakes it will not go back to my previously set speed.

Ideas?

are you dropping 10 mph 'below your set speed' when you hit the brakes? 10 mph ain't much...if so, it will totally cancel out and you have to start all over again....
