It does seem to have helped - the wings don't move as easily. I may try something else to firm them up more. Stay tuned.TeryT said:OK, here's something that may have helped. I took the little "wing" section apart & scuffed-up the friction surfaces with sandpaper. Not too much - just enough to get the shine off them, so they won't move quite as easily.
I'll test it over the next couple days & report back.
Here is what I did for my Venti sized coffee cup.
Set you next coffe cup on top of three bounty paper towels. Wrap the towels up and set the cup and towels into the cup holder set in the middle position with the little arm extended into the holder area. The towels will make a little nest to hold your cup upright and your coffee a lot warmer. Problem solved.
i was thinking about how to fix this today. I might try to make a mold of the cup holder and make a plastic insert that fits a can/smaller cup
Ancient post. Cleaning reusable cups is a PITA, so I get my coffee and green stopper, drink, then throw.
The center of the cup holder adjusts left and right too, making bigger and smaller cup holders.
