Cup holders for a first Gen?

I have a cubby hole behind the shifter, but I always spill my drink. Is there something to hold a drink with? My wifes 2nd Gen had two drink holders and my 04 Taco had 4 drink holders. Just tired of my drink spilling.

This is one of the "creature comforts" lacking in the first gen's. I am on the verge of swapping the entire dash out of a 2nd gen just for the cup holders. I would say that your best bet would be to retrofit some newwer cup holders out of a 2nd gen into the dash. I wish that I could find the effort to do it, but that is very last on my list for now. One day, that is what will happen.

You could replace your center console with a tuffy console, of course you would lose your rear heat.

Don't bother just for cupholder. It sucks.

There are aftermarket holders that may work well. I ditto the center console idea, and you may be able to keep your rear heat depending on the model you choose and how you mount it.

Better yet, just use bottles. They don't spill and usually have contents that are better for your health! (yeah, this coming from the big fat guy!):lmao:
