Curious if anyone has seen an sr5 without a moonroof

Have I see one...no....do they come without a moon/sun roof....yes. Chances are if you find one w/o that it will be pretty stripped as it is a part of most upgraded packages.
Can I ask what you have against them? The only thought is that one day it may leak?

Have you tried a 4Runner with the 8-way driver seat? My TE has it, and I believe they are standard on the LE too. You can get it as part of the Leather package on an SR5 and it might be the difference for you as it has a height adjustment.
You'll fit in the FJC - as long as you don't need the backseat for family. I do prefer my new T4R to the FJC, though.

My SR5 has it. I knew I had adj seats, but did not realize they also went up-and-down, duh. I have the opposite problem as you.
I doubt you'll find a decently-equipped 4R without a sunroof. If you're willing to wait, maybe you can special order an '11 the way you want it.

I have a 4x4 SR5 with no sunroof and third row. I'm tall as well and have no need for a sunroof. They are out there.

mine doesn't have a moonroof but still has alot of options like bluetooth, 8 way power seats and jbl.

Your signature says you have an SR5, JBL is NOT an option on the SR5, so..... were you mis-informed by your dealer that you have something that you really don't?

My 2010 sr5 has no moonroof, and does have the robotfuturechair (8way seat). I test drove them with and without a moonroof, and preferred without. I'm also 6'3, it was a deciding factor. The adjustable seat probably would've been OK, but headroom is always an issue, and the one they had on the lot just happened to have no moonroof.
I did hold out for Party Mode though. Very, very important.

I have a an 4x4, SR5 with third row and no sunroof/moon roof option. And its not stripped down by any standards..it has quite a few other nice features. Over all the runner has many standard features which makes even a stripped model a pretty good buy if you ask me. So yes they are definitely out there, however, at least here in TX this combo is particularly rare. I put in an order (since my wife and I were pretty set on this combination: I had had to have 4X4 and she wanted the third row) and we waited for nearly 3.5 months!
It was definitely worth the wait! I have seen several other runners....but ours is the only one I have seen with these options and in salsa red with black interior (so it really feels unique)!
I recently went to the dealer to get some accessories and they recognized me since my runner is considered pretty rare around here. They did mention that they are even harder to get now than they were when we got ours.
If you want it without moon roof, just put in an order..but be prepared to wait.

When I got my SR5 we were waiting on one to come in on a truck that morning without a sunroof. It had fabric seats instead of leather but everything else was the same as the one I ended up getting. I have a freind who is also really tall and he fits fine in mine WITH the sun roof. He's driven it and ridden in the back seat comfortably. Good Luck finding the one you want, you will love it once you do!

:iagree: This is the truth. I got told they don't send them out here with moon roofs. I have leather and the sliding tray with a few more extras so its not just a baseline thing. I haven't seen a 5th gen out here with a moonroof but I know where all the BP's are ending up.
I'm 5'8" so I don't have the issue with the headroom that you giants have.

When I traded my 3rd gen SR5 in for a 5th gen I found an amazing deal. The only breaker was the truck had no leather and no sunroof. Otherwise it was a well equiped SR5. So they do exist; I just don't know why you wouldn't want more sunshine pouring in. I had both leather and a sunroof added to mine and now it's the best vehicle in North Carolina, probably even the South. It can drive through anything, over anything, towing anything (well, don't try pulling a Bobcat and an excavator at the same time, it will bend your u-joints on your drive shaft). I love my new 4R.

No moon roof here. But, I have the upgraded radio/Sirius package, bluetooth, USB connectors, 110v plugs/inverter, 4x4 and power everything. No nav...but, my iPad works very well for that.
If that is stripped, the fully loaded T4Rs must have big screen TVs and a smoothie mixer.
