Curious What People Think of This Interior

I've seen MUCH worse, but it just looks a bit "off". Black weathertechs would help, but I'm not sure they would be enough to pull it together.

Leather sucks.. and black leather is the worst of them all.

Summer time might suck a bit with black leather, but as others have said it just needs some matching carpet and weathertech's or something. Plus the silver trim around the radio and shifter and dash needs to be black too, then it would balance better IMO. As-is, not great but it has potential.

The seats look pretty damn good in black. I just don't like how they put the black leather on the doors too. Looks odd over there, to me. Haha, I opened this thread expecting to see the interior painted orange or something.

It doesn't look to bad although it kinda reminds me of what i think the inside of the death star would look like if reupholstered!!

i am not a fan but it could be fixed pretty easily with seat covers and reupolster of the door panels.

i didnt see how many miles it had but if the number is really low then it could be a good find.

It's a 2002 with 157k asking $10.9k. PNW inflation.

hmmm, i'm kind of in in the middle, For sure the door handles need to be painted black at least.

do you guys think solid black seats would look better on a black 4runner?

It's not bad just too much contrast. Dark Grey or Charcoal would look better or add more Black to the interior as others have said.

I may be the minority but I like it. I do think a black carpet would look a lot better though.

I think reversed would be good. Stock tan interior with black carpet would look good...

Funny... to each their own. Maybe their opinions have changed since this was 4 years ago..? Maybe not. I like it though. I wish black was an option. this is nearly identical to what my interior will look like in the next few weeks.

My 4r is all black though, fully tinted w black dipped 5stars. My interior has the black center console trim. I also have black weathertech mats and rear cargo mat.

I picked up power/lumbar/heated bmw e46 front seats last weekend and have been restoring them with leatherique. I'll be using their black dye after the rejuvenator cycles. Going to fab some bracket adapters to mount.

Picking up leather door inserts and rear leather skins hopefully very soon to finish the project before it's too cold out.
