Current 4Runner Body Style

I'm about to become the proud owner of an '06 4Runner and I'm curious as to how long the current body style will be in production. Are there any plans for an update in the coming years? (Not like we need one.......the current is Awesome).

2006 saw some body style changes. 2009 is the tentative date for a redesign. It will be the 5th generation 4Runner.

Yes, 2006 was the "mid-cycle update", so we should be good for a few!My next 4R will be a V8 though!

The 4Runner is on a 7 year cycle. The next generation will start as a 2010. Of course, it will be out in the Fall of 2009.
