Custom bull bar/skid plate?

Hey just wondering if anyone has ever made their own bull bar. I really like the look of these and seem very practical when combined with a full skid plate. I was thinking I might make one up in my machine class what do you guys think? Has anyone made their own before or just dish out the cash? If so anyone have pictures? Thanks...This is somewhat of what I'm thinkin...hope the pic works!

That first link is awesome only $99! It still suprises me that nobody on here has ever just made their own though...maybe there is a reason for that haha

prolly because it is just as easy to make a complete bumper that takes hit over hit than a damage multiplyer....... try ttora.com there are a ton of taco guys that self fab bumpers on there.
