Just wondering if anyone on here has a reliable supplier for custom bumper parts. I've been checking out multiple sites, but I don't know the legitimacy of them. Any info you guys have would be great!

My bumper parts supplier was the local steel supply house.

What kind of "parts" do you need to build a bumper?

Depends on what your looking for. I purchased my swing out hinge from 4xinivations, and my tire mount and d-ring mounts from some sellers on EBay. The rest came from the steel yard.

Stay away from those 1000lb trailer spindles, get something beefier like this:

Those guys are awesome. Used their stuff on my Landcruiser.

Thanks to those of you who posted the spindles for the tire carriers! Helps a lot with the rear bumper! I was hoping to find parts for the front bumper too, such as the nice heavy duty hoop mounts like those on the ARB bumpers and mounting plates for a winch. I'm sure some of this I could fab up myself, but I do have a metal shop with plenty of steel. No CNC machine though.

Also, this bumper won't be the typical angled, boxy shape. I'm looking to make the bumper follow the contours of the body. I'm fortunate enough to work with a good fabricator and a shop with plenty of tools to make it happen.

So this is a little bit closer to what I'm trying to accomplish with the bumper build. Remember that the bumper will be curved to match the contour of the body.
