Customizing the 00' T4R Dash questions?

Hey guys, looking at putting a in-dash single din deck in my 00 4rnr limited..

I want to put the heater controls on the bottom and the deck up top. Highly custom i know, but has anyone know of this being done? Im looking for some insight on doing this to my car.

Im either gonna just move the double din to the top, or fiberglass all the new stuff in and make some custom mounts..Im thinking of getting rid of the offset while im at it, which will make it easier to make the mounts...

Anyone have any pros/cons about moving the heater controls?

I was actually thinking about doing the same with mine, except I was going to mold a tv in up top to get it closer to my eyes. I don't really see it being a problem as long as you're familiar with bondo and bondo-hair. A lot of people refer to bondo hair as kitty-hair but its basically bondo with fiberglass in it. You'd use that to build up your frame along with some abs plastic, and then use the bondo to make it nice and smooth. The only other problem i see would be the wires for the heater controls not being long enough.
