Just installed OME 884 coils on front with top spacer to give me a full 3" and superflex rear coils with a driver side spacer on rear. Anyway, as soon as I installed my lift my CV boots separated (like that afternoon). I know it's only 3" and everybody said that a diff drop isn't necessary but, I'm wondering it it were just time for new axles or should I put on a drop. It's an '04 with 139000 miles.

I've seen enough to know that a diff drop is a bad idea on the clamshell 7.5 diff. I'd replace the CVs and do a manual hub swap.

CV boot failure is very common to happen right after you change the ride high of your t4r. I would drop your diff since it's not too expensive AND replace your axles with something from napa/checker/autozone.
my boots went out at 100k and I decided to replace the boots themselves by myself and that SUCKED. I didn't have the correct cv boot band tool and it took HOURS. it cost me like $120 for a set of boots at Toyota. Instead I could have bought new napa axles for $100 a side. that would have be MUCH easier.
basically you need to replace your axles/or boots alone. By doing so your boots should last another 100k. You don't HAVE to drop the diff but it would prolong the life of the boots. I'd do the drop in 6 months to a year.
