CV joint or wheel bearing issue grinding noise

This issue started after I installed my Daystar spacers in the front. When I turn full right or left not all the way but most of the way, I get a grinding noise. I also noticed that if I got to an open area like a parking lot and turn it and drive forward I now also get a bit of a wobble feel. It still drives fine going straight. I almost certain it's not the steering stops. It must be the outer cv joint or possibly the wheel bearing. But I am leaning more towards the cv. How can I tell for sure what it is? Shop wants $400 for cv joint including the part. Also did i do something wrong when installing the Daystar spacers that could cause this?

I'm bumping this thread to the top since I'm about to install some Daystar spacers myself and would like to avoid an issue should one have been caused by the install. What size did you put on?

I would bet his wheel bearing was bad and never noticed until he lifted it. Or the lugs were never tightened down well.

It's unlikely that the outer CV joint is binding up. It has a lot of angular range, and your CV angles are likely better with the Daystar lift than they were stock when you're on level ground. It's the inner CV joint that is problematic after spacer lifts, but usually only near full droop.

Check the bearings as stated, and also check to see if your front tires are rubbing after the lift.
