Border411 New member Nov 22, 2010 #2 That isnt in any of the manuals that I have read, and I dont see any real advantage to doing it. I didnt when I just repacked mine due to the leaking CV boot issue.

chaz New member Nov 25, 2010 #3 only thing ive found is on some older benz the inner cv boot is filled with oil , the outer has grease, haven't seen anything about mixing the two.
