Cylinder 2 misfire...

So my trail threw a code this week while I was on vacation in Maine. The truck idled rough on startup and threw the code (displayed check-engine + trac lights and a blinking multiple-terrain light). Dealer up here was not able to replicate the code and cleared it for me (saw no evidence of anything else wrong). I also just had my 30k service last week and there were no issues then. Has anyone else experienced the rough cold-start idle and code throwing? Want to know if there is something I should look out for in case it happens again.

They didn't tell you the 4 digit code(s) before they cleared it?
(displayed check-engine + trac lights and a blinking multiple-terrain light) are just basic idiot lights that seem to come on with any problem as they were what I got for the o2 sensor warnings before I got the SIM for my headers and people who had broken ABS wire during lift installs.

angrydog had something similar happen and never did say what it was though. Probably bad gas.......http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/77597-4r-fails-start.html

Dang, I totally forgot to update my thread! Well, I came to the conclusion that it was indeed bad gas. The Toyota mechanic I spoke to who worked on my car that checked it knew what he was doing (He also worked at a Merc-Benz robbership); he ran multiple gas and vapor tests and even kept my truck for a day so the fluids can settle before running other tests. He said he saw nothing out of place mechanically. Also my CEL lights went out ~3 weeks later after I filled the tank up with gas from a station I see is always busy.

*Here are the codes I pulled;

P0171 - Bank 1 System too Lean.
P0174 - Bank 2 System too Lean.
P0171^Pd - Bank 1 System too Lean.
P0174^Pd - Bank 2 System too Lean.

A myth is.... in the summer, gas stations start mixing ethanol to reduce prices... it causes cars to run lean. I believe the myth though because my M3 started acting up one day because of poor gas at a local gas station.

Zero issues today on the 600 mile drive back from Maine to DC, I'll revisit the thread if the issue pops back up.
