What up fellas. First off let me start by saying I love the site, tons of useful information. This is my first time posting on here and I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction.

I was thinking about tearing out the carpet in my 2001 Runner and putting the bed lining material on the floor. My question is what are some of the potential problems I might run into (ex. wires, bolts etc.)?

Shouldnt have any problems as lots of people sprayed their floor. There are a couple wire looms but they are under the center console, door guards. there is also a control box under the driver seat and the fan for rear heat under passenger seat. All easily moved out of the way while you spray.

didn't someone just do that a few months ago? there is a thread here somewhere with someone who did it, lot of pics and stuff.

Prep the crap out of the surface and all areas with some good grit sandpaper making sure all grease and other slick materials are out..You can try some spray on or roll on bedliners.

Take some pictures as you go too!

Right on ! HI_Life808,

Just wanted to say " howzit " , I don't have anything constructive or instructive to add. Do drop some pictures on us.

Aloha for now..........8sm

Howzit Bruddahs! Thanks for the info... now its just finding the time to do it. How do you post pics on your profile?

Welcome... here is a link to a guy who did a sound deadining on his entire rig, shows tons of pics and instructions of how to remove everthing. This should answer your questions and give you an idea of what you will uncover.
