I had 4wheelparts do mine. They have a shop just north of downtown, one in Plano, and one in Coppell. I would recommend them over just a general shop as they specialize in offroad products.

yeah i went by the one in plano the other day, but since they're a big name they're going to charge way more because they can get away with it...just for kicks i had them quote me for a 3" lift, 4 pro comp tires, 4 pro comp wheels, labor and tax out the door came out to almost 2700! so needless to say i'll be getting my lift and tires from somewhere else, but if it comes down to it, i would have them install just because they do know what they're doing

I agree they are a little high, especailly on labor. I think my 2.5" lift installed was around $600. I also got Procomp MT's and Procomp wheels, they came to around $1500 installed.

come to think of it, i think the only one they carried was a 2.5" kit. and they also showed me pro comp wheels and tires. is that all the suspension you have on your t4r?

I had the 2.5 Daystar put in last fall. Month or so ago, I started noticing that the rear was slightly lower than the front. I had Rancho 5000 shocks put in front and rear. Then that really raised the front even more. So, I installed some OME 891 coils on the rear, removing the 2.5 Daystar spacers, and that raised the rear just slightly above the front. So right now, I have the 2.5 Daystar on the front, and OME 891 coils in the rear.

Im in keller and had mikes half price auto do mine it was $350 took less than a day and 1.2ss kit was installed. They also did my tranny swap. Probably further than you want to drive from dallas but an alternative none-the-less.
