Well I think I finally figured out what was causing the noise in my rear when I fully flexed out my rear suspension. After repeated rock strikes it looks like my rear lower link mounts are pretty beat up on both sides.
It is the one area I didn’t armor up which in retrospect was a mistake. It also appears that these mounts tend to get like this just from repeated full flexing of the rear suspension off road.
What have been your experiences fixing this? I think the short term play is to bend the mounts back the best I can and throw some skids on there. Long term I may cut the original mounts off and weld newer beefier ones in.
