damn pigeons

there are some pigeons that have decided to make a home in the roof of my house right next to the driveway. it never fails, i always have bird poop on my truck, especially within a couple days of a washing (its not garaged).... usually cant get to cleaning it right away, or if i totally miss it cuz its on the roof, it ends up sitting there, eating away at my finish. so when i finally get around to washing it off, i find that some really bad droppings, seemed to "crackle" the paint underneath it, and you really cant tell its there unless you are close up to the truck.
i was wondering if anyone knew a really good technique to fixing this? or if its hopeless at this point. any feedback would be great. Thanks!

12 GA

A 12 GA would be more fun! That's the one thing about living out of the city, you don't have to worry about stupid pigeons, big rats with wings! And having a garage would solve the problem too!

I know it's kind of anal, but I do it anyways. I keep a spray bottle of water and knapkins in the truck. If I see some bird poop I can clean it ASAP.

I was thinking of getting those disposable cleaning wipes they sell for automotive use, but the labels said not recommended for Paint. Good old water and something to wipe it with works well enough.
