dang the Supercharger belt! errrr

the dang SC belt ripped a hole in the intake vac tube that run across the motor. Now my 4x4 light keeps blinking & wont turn off after a new tube.

4wd is not pushed in. this happend after I put pedal to the metal in second gear.

i have tried to pull the battery off to reset the ecu. but that didnt work.

wonder what it can be. any idea?

try pulling the EFI fuse for a couple of seconds

what year is your 4run? I dont believe any 4wd hoses run anwhere near your belts on your motor. If its a newer all elect 4wd system, my guess is you have an electrical problem. I have seen and fixed several 4wd problems with the electric push button types

yep. its emissions. I think you have a case of bad 4wd thats going around with the push button crap. If you go to the dealer, 99% sure they will try and sell you a tcase. Most likely its gonna be a wiring issue, actuator, or a broken hard piece. Its needs to be diagnosed by someone who knows what they are doing. Look out for the dealer. I just fixed one at our shop. The guy at our shop who was working on it first, my boss thought he would be good since we just got him from the dealership. He worked on it for a month off and on and couldnt figure it out. I was given it this week and figured it out in a day. These electric 4wd systems can be really confusing

Sure I would fix it for you. I woldnt be able to give you a price since I dont know what im up against and how much diag time it will take. I can start with $100 and it could go up if it needs more time or could go down if it is simple. let me know if you want me to look at it

ok, so i started to do research and it could be a front diff sensor PN 84222-35070.

I bought one. then went to look for the front sensor. what did I find out? the darn 2002 model isnt there like 96-2000 model. either I am a id-10-t or its not on the 2002 model.

any help or idea?

more than likely you have a wiring and/or actuator problem. Its hard to say without seeing the truck
