Dash light Problems!

ok so i got into my truck this morning and noticed that the "Check Engine" light, the "TRAC OFF" light, and the "VSC TRAC" light were all illuminated while i was driving to the store... I turned my engine on/off several times but it is still appearing. Im not sure if this is caused by the ISR mod i did a few days ago or if it is something completely different.

If anyone has an idea on wat it could be please let me know bc they lights are not interfering with anything but would love to get everything back to normal.

Noticed on the ISR write-up it says after i install the pipe and tubing, i just need to take out the EFI Fuse for a couple mins and im done but do i do that while the truck is off or on (i did it off of course, didnt wanna mess anything up)? Ive been driving with the ISR mod for a few days now and first time ive gotten these lights.

The trac off and vsc lights normally come on with the CEL just to get your attention, you need to see what code is throwing the CEL. You can have it read at Autozone or I have an ODBII scantool, once you know what the code is you can look it up in the FSM and proceed to troubleshoot/fix

The same lights came on on my 2001 after I changed plugs and forgot to plug one of the coil packs back in. remove the negative battery cable for five minutes and it will clear itself.

well do u have any free time soon? im not exactly sure on all that OBD II codes and wat not...

JT: does the alarm go off when u take off the negative terminal on the battery?

Prob couldn't get to it till tomorrow, my scantool is at my house and I won't get home till like 10:30pm

Mine threw the Christmas tree after I did my ISR mod too. Yanked my battery terminal and it hasn't come back since.

I also pulled my EFI relay and fuse out. Do it when it's off. Wait several minutes and then turn your truck to the ON position for 10 seconds and then start it.

ok thnx Hepar for the response... ya i just yanked my neg terminal and well i need to clean both anyways since i have a little bit of battery acid on the pos terminal. Hopefully this will fix it and well if not ill let u know mauzer and tom is fine if it doesnt go away!

EDIT: ok so took off the terminals and cleaned them while i was at it and the lights are gone... hopefully forever!
