Dash mat opinions

Hey guys I am looking into picking up a dash mat for my 06 4Runner. I bought the DashMat brand and am not very happy with it. It doesn't fit that well and is very thin and flimsy. What are you guys using, and do you like it?

When you say dashmat, you meant dash cover right? Why would you want to put a dash cover in your new dash anyway? If it's for protection, trust me your dash is going to be good for the next ten or so years. Once in a while apply a protectant (ArmorAll). I personnaly like Meguires because of their lower shine/glose.
Personnaly I think dashmat/dashcovers are meant to hide something rather than for protection. just my 2 cents.

Exactly! I am trying to hide the wires running up to my portable nav system sitting on the dash...

I'd be VERY careful while putting on and taking off that dash mat. The top of our dash is very fragile and can get scratched very easily. And, once it's scratched, there's no way to really fix it, because rubbing it can take the color out.... trust me this all happened to me. Now I'm afraid to even touch the dash because I know how fragile it is.
