I've been chasing this for some time. It's a squeak that sounds a lot like styrofoam rubbing together every time I hit a bump. Naturally it got worse after adding 5100s and C load tires. I knew it was around the glove box as pressing on the glovebox hard or the trim around it would mute the squeak. So I've torn it all apart and found that bumping my fist on the plastic cross piece where the glove box actually mounts makes the noise I'm hearing.
It's the part with "16" written on it.
So, the thing is I can't find a way to quiet it. There's not anything to really brace it against so jamming some rubber into a gap won't work. Has online else had this issue? Any ideas on how to address it?
