Dashboard Cover and Sensor Question

I just picked up a dashboard cover from the dealer. It mentions to make cut outs to uncover climate control sensors, alarm sensors or other options.

I reviewed the owner's manual and I didn't find anything referencing where the climate control/alarm sensors were located. I checked the dash near the bottom of the windshield and saw two round pieces on the driver's side adjacent to the windshield defrost vent.

Does anyone know if these are sensors? As it is, I have a center channel speaker in the top middle of the dash that I need to decide if I want to do a cut out for. I am going to wait and see if I notice the difference.

The tall sensor is for automatic headlights (only on the Limited). SR5's and Sports have a plastic insert instead. The other sensor on the driver side dash is for the climate control. I have no idea where the alarm sensor is.
