This was actually on Pismo Beach.

Wife and I took a lovely road trip up to SLO and SB for valentines day weekend.

Lots of rain was predicted but it turned out to be a great crisp and clean after the rain feel all weekend while we toured the area.

The 4R did great out on the sand dunes! At no point did I ever remotely feel like I was gonna get stuck. Locked the center diff slinged lots of sand

Too bad I did get any pics of out in the sand.

Hey, let me know if you're ever back up this way. I live 45 mins. from there. We go to that beach all the time and drive on it. Did you make it all the way across the river and into the sand dunes? Talk about some serious wheeling!

Yup...across the river a day after a big storm.

And yes...all the way to the end of the 'sand highway' and back.

All by accident really cause I didn't know what I was getting into. Should of taken note when all I saw are ATVs and buggies around me but I wanted to play too

She handled it all just perfectly without leaving me even once feeling like I was going to get stuck. Just locked the center diff and kicked up around lots of sand.

If I ever get out there again...I'm sure I'll do it all over again.
