So HC is still around? I've heard rumors that it was no longer there (bulldozed or off-limits). I'm gonna try to make this one Andy if it's late March. I'll see if Austin and Bobby can go.

They say some of it is graded now. Undecided at this point if I will make it. If I do go it will be in my Tacoma. Just wanted to let others know.

Dorton, any news aon this issue? Went to Richland back in early November and saw the leftovers of the bbq jeep. It was an eerie feeling seeing it out there that's for sure. Need to run a trash pick up trail clean up day out there.

It's disapointing to see the trash, and spray paint down through there.

I'm going to contact the Sheriff's Dept, and see if I can cut up the burned out jeep, and take it out on my trailer to a recycler.

Unfortunately, not yet. Between work, the holidays, and working on a friend's jeep, I haven't been able to get any time. Hopefully soon though.

Whoever wants to go there is a lot of people planning to go camping one or both nights of that weekend, you can go to the south east section to sign up on TW, they have a set date and are taking roll of everyone who is going.

Hurricane Creek

Is there much out there asides from some mud pits and water play areas? How long of a trail ride is this? Also, I heard these areas are private property but the main trail is legal. Not sure if that is true still or not but may be worth checking into.

You can do the trail ( or road) almost all of it in 2wd. Not nearly as hard as Richland Rd. About the same distance. There's another trail out that way off Harmon Den Rd. Much more technical. Used to be called 12 mile strip. I know a Guy who layed his taco on it's side on it.
I need to go and check it out and see whats up. I know how to get to it. I rode it around 1980 on my RM125 Suzuki.

Thanks for the info, I would be more interested in the 12 mile strip trail or Richland trip. HC sounds like a fun get together though.

The 12 mile I know is just a gravel road that connects back to a forest road but not sure. I would like to find out though might drive up there next week.

The trail is off the gravel road. I had some friends go there on new years day.
Some Unimogs went through there and tore it up some. Some Unimogs ran the trails in Caney Fork and the Forest Service closed it.

I've heard anywhere from 4-12'' but who knows.

Ill be going between 4:00 and 5:30 depending on who I can get to go.
