Thanks guys for getting back to me, that trip looked like a lot of fun. I might come out there for the next trip and maybe try it out as long as someone was willing to coach me. I definitely would take the easiest lines possible and stay away from rocks and stuff, but I guess I won't find out if the cr-v is capable unless I try right? haha it looks awesome though and makes me want a true 4wd

It's fun, but would recommend it in conjunction with something else in the area. We went through a few weeks back in the rain(my 4th time) and I never locked the hubs. If you go on private property on one of the offshoots from the trail, you can find much more difficult terrain. You can also find yourself with rightfully pissed off land owners, just like you or I'd be if we found someone destroying our property.
It's a fun trail, but for a little more driving time you can find better places more entertaining. It's about the same distance from my house to shoe creek, and big levels. For a little more driving, I can be in GWNF west of Harrisonburg VA, with trails of similar difficulty, breathtaking views, and 100's of miles vs 6-8 of Richland.

Well went to Uwharrie this weekend to camp and ride.
It was my first time being in the rain and it was a sloppy mess.
Had to winch out two people and winch myself out once.
damage report; dent in LR by my tail light, Dent in hatch from a razr getting stuck on my rear bumper, Dented my gas tank to the point my fuel gauge doesn't work and my belly pan rubs my t-case now.
and here's the stuck.

Good lord, your SN is fitting now [MENTION=94189]hurt4x[/MENTION] lol. Were you there yesterday? Thought I passed you where the tree was blocking the fire road. Me and 2 Tacomas did Daniel from the front side. It was a freaking mess but we really only had trouble on the first ledge. I know some other tacos got stuck yesterday in the same spot as your pic.

Yep I saw you pass after they cleared the tree.
Most of my damage was from giving it hell up the far left lines on Dickie Bell.
I got stuck going up the back side of Daniel. That's when a razr tried to pass and slid into me hooking his roll cage on my rear bumper
The rain definitely makes it .... interesting.
Now I have to power wash off 100lbs. of mud:doh:

Yea it was slicker than shit!! I fell on my ass one time. I have done dickey bell in the rain and it's pretty fun. I usually crawl right through it.
