Man. I forgot how Uwharrie goes from a cakewalk to a shitshow with the slightest bit of rain.

All you NC guys join up on NCTTORA. Great group of guys to wheel with. We usually hit Harlan 1-2x a year and then other places like Windrock and wherever Takeover is each year.

Thanks for posting pics Andy & Graham. I'd say "wish I was there", but I really don't... Not in that mud lol. Reminds me of last time I went up with Andy, Bobby, & Austin. That spot where you were stuck Graham, we had to coach a kid coming down the opposite direction in an old Cherokee, because he kept washing down that same bank. I told him to just gas it and hold on, lol. Had him come in low and turn up the high side over that berm. Enjoy hosing those clumps of mud out of your rigs boys!

I'm going to push to get my lift and tires on once I get back into town and make it down that weekend to do some mountain biking and wheeling. Have some parts on backorder so that will determine whether I can make it down.

Everyone that plans on coming out Saturday if you have a regular WalkieTalkie, please bring it as that is all I have. I would plan on meeting at the OutPost at 10:00 am, Andy let me know what time works for you.

Had a great trip out this weekend. It was very good to meet & wheel with you Ian! Hopefully we can do it all again soon. We bumped in to Jamie TRD Sparks in his 100 series out on Dickey Bell and he tagged along with us. Went up Dutch John and found an Xterra with a snapped tie-rod at the top of the obstacle. He was blocking the trail with barely enough room to get by. I had to pull off and make my own parking spot off the top of the trail because my 4th gen was too wide to get by. Ian made it up and squeezed by the tree and the Xterra. Then we got out Ian’s nice ARB recovery gear and hooked him up. After fighting his floppy tire we ended up backing him into a good spot where he was off the trail completely and could make the repair.

Haven’t had much home time to look at the pictures but I will post them up once we do! Should have allot.

Good to meet y'all too, Bobby! I had a blast out there and I look forward to our next run. Glad we got that guy out with the strap, but i am still looking for an excuse to use my winch :madgrin: . Here are a few pics I snapped from the go pro footage of Dickie Bell.
