HaHa...that's why I posted the date to make sure we were on the same page...I was responding to st8rocks post of Labor Day weekend and I voted for Sunday(the31st)...since the next post was Darklight saying Sunday @ 10 I though we were talking about the same Sunday...were you Darklight?

I'll make Sunday work so I'll be there (Prob w/my GF and my son, IF they want to get up early enough to go). How long does the trail usually take?
How do you like your RCI skids? I ordered the front in aluminum and I will have it put on next week. I figured id try it out and if I like it, finish out the set.

Yeah guys, sorry for the poor thread etiquette talking about a Uwharrie run on a Richland thread. It looks like the 4th gen guys are going to URE tomorrow and you 5th gen guys are discussing a Richland trip. Hope that clears it up. Have fun!

You guys will be fine. It's a little sketch seeing all those postings, but just stick to the main trail and you'll be fine. If you have GPS, the entire road is actually on there (at least it is on mine). The first time I went, it was just my wife and I and we made it through without any issues. I saw a lot of actually stock looking Toyota pickups going through there.
Oh, and getting Bobby to wheel on a Sunday is very difficult... I know. Don't think we'll be heading up there this weekend, but I never say never

I really enjoyed it, especially the view at the end.
Do everyone a favor, and this is for anyone reading that goes there. Take some trash bags and pick up any trash you see, especially at the camp site. It was a damn mess. Unfortunely I did not have bags, and didn't want trash blowing out of my bed on the highway and landing me a ticket.
Let me know if you go and want some company on the trail. My GF is going back to chimney rock in a few weeks.
