So I'm new to here, and just purchased another 4runner. I just received my 1 inch spacers, and looking for some advice for the install. I have the xreas system as well. I've seen other posts about lifts, but nothing on the 1 inch. I'm just looking to put 265/65/18 inch tires in place of the stock. I know it's not much, but just looking to get rid of the crazy rake a little bit.

I've helped about several people in my area lift their 4Runners and I've used this method the last 5 or 6 times and it's really as quick and simple as it can be.

With xreas? i just cant see how there would be enough room to get everything out

I actually missed the not disconnecting the swaybar part originally but didn't make an edit. I remove the skid plate and disconnect the sway bar as well. Beyond that, I've followed the rest of the procedure regardless of XREAS.

+1, done this several times with and without xreas, and to me it's easier than having to disconnect the ball joint.
