DayStar 1" Kit-Cutting Strut Studs

For those that have used the newer version of the DS 1" kit, did you cut the strut studs like they say to do? Looks like I have about 1/4" thread left with threading the extenders on there, so just curious what others have done

I didn’t cut mine. Just left them stock. Didn’t really see a need to cut them
