Can anyone post/share pictures of their 4th gen with a Daystar 2.5 1.5 with 255 75 17's? I have checked some threads/posts but haven't had much success... Having said that, I am new to this forum so if they are out there, I apologize!

Will you be adding Spidertrax spacers?

No, probably not. I'll wait to see how it looks with the narrower tires but obviously clearance shouldn't be a problem.

I've read there are rubbing issues without spacers, so I was just curious. Can't wait to see your pics!

I run the 255-75-17 now. Lifted without spacers was no rubbing. Once I added spacers I had to remove the front mud flaps and push the fender liners forward.

That doesn't sound like too painful of a process, do you like the look without mud flaps?

Mostly Likely will be fine. Several people run the 255/85/17 in the GY Silent Armour at stock ride height. Worst case you push the fender liner forward.

Yes they will fit with no lift it's been done before on here.

I thought so too. I compared overall sizes on an online tire calculator and the differences seemed to be tolerable vs stock.

[MENTION=101303]scottblink23[/MENTION] the lift arrived on Friday but it was too late to get it installed. The weather has been terrible since but Wed is looking like a decent day. Once the lift is on, the tires should be on by the weekend. I will post once it's all done.

I can relate man the weather here has been terrible. My spidertrax came in today an I'm picking up my tires on Wednesday. I ended up going with the fs ats 255 75 17. Lift goes on next week )

UPS screwed me... Friday was 80 and sunny. Lift was supposed to be there on Thurs and I planned on installing it wearing a t shirt and shorts. Lift experienced an "exception" and sat in Richmond for an extra night. I got it really late Friday and since then it has been in the 40s. Thanks UPS!

Also, apparently it costs $100 to mount and balance tires now?? WTF? I remember it used to be somewhere around $40. Not real excited about that. This lift and these BFG Mud Tires 255/75/17 were supposed to be a cheap holdover until I can get a suspension lift and new tires but the little things are adding up.

Unfortunately, it does cost $100. or more to mount and balance tires... :redbrick: Would love to go back to the 70s & 80s when gas and everything was cheaper, but then so were wages. So it's all relative..
